Ending Violence Against Children:

Developing a Roadmap to a

Healthy Childhood and Adolescence

The hidden public health epidemic of violence against children is one of the root causes of mental health and substance abuse problems. This conference will impart practical strategies from a variety of experts and providers to raise awareness and better understand how to identify and  treat victims of violence, with the goal of ending violence against young people. There will be opportunities for collaboration among practitioners, policy makers, governments, academics, civil society, the private sector, and victims/survivors themselves.

We encourage all those interested to attend, including but not limited to physicians, nurses, physician assistants, social workers, policy makers, academics and victims/survivors themselves. An excellent opportunity to earn CME credit.

Course Directors:

Angela Diaz, MD, PhD, MPH

Director of the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center

Joanna Rubinstein, DDS, PhD

President & CEO of Childhood USA
